Are there any hotels within walking distance of this train station?

I got some before Christmas. They arrived about 14 days after I ordered.

I just got the letter today saying that I will get a new card with the new company in October. I closed the account with BankofAmerica over a month ago! Was hoping to reapply with the new company for a new bonus sign up sometime next year. Anyone else have this happen?

That is what I thought! It stinks that the customer service rep is telling me that I will lose my points! They must get people to keep the account open that way?

I just cancelled my amtrak card before the annual fee posts. The person who cancelled it told me that I lose my points by cancelling the card? So far, the points are still there. I was thinking of using the points for gift cards if that is the case. I had the card a few years ago and the points...

That is my old neighborhood. Local news is reporting one death but have not confirmed if it was the driver of the truck. Passengers and crew are fine.

Would the shopping portal count as "activity" to keep my points from expiring?

Can I get the bonus if I previously held and closed the card? Closed it about 3 years ago.

How long does it have to be between closing the fee card and applying again to get the new bonus? I think it has been three years since opening the card, less than two years since closing it.

Does the No Annual Fee mastercard come with a lounge coupon? The chart on the guest rewards site makes it appear as though both cards get that perk but the fine print does not include that description for the No Annual Fee card.

If we upgraded from Business Acela to First, are there any other perks other than use of the lounge? Do they offer meal service? Early boarding? Wonder if it is worth the price to upgrade?

Cannot beat that price! Was thinking a walk would be nice if the weather is pleasant (have light duffel on wheels) but for that price, maybe we could get an earlier train and just do the taxi.

Does a ticket for Acela Express Business Class get me entrance to the First Class Lounge at NY Penn?

We are doing a one-way cruise from Canada and ending in New York City. We were thinking of then doing the Amtrak from NY Penn Station to Boston. Is it walkable from the cruise port to NY Penn? It looks to be only a mile or so?

That sounds like a great price to upgrade for that length of trip. We love the family bedroom for the two of us. So much more room than the roommette. Honestly, the smaller windows did not bother us at all. We enjoyed being able to spread out.

Don't know about at Union Station but last time we rented in Tampa, we found the Enterprise that was a few miles from the airport to be much cheaper than the Enterprise at the airport. We took an Uber back and forth from Enterprise to the airport.

Do you lose your points if you close the card? Was thinking of closing the paid card since I did not use the coupons this year and applying for the no fee card next year but have about 6,000 points that I don't want to lose. Not sure if the fee is worth it to hold onto those points?
