Metrolink prepares to waste even more money and slow down its trains even more while increasing the risk of telescoping locomotives into passenger cars

Just wanted clarification from anyone who knows: When getting AGR points from a United flight with EWR connection, it's one point for every mile, air and rail, correct?

Has there been any word or official pricing for Tier 4 freight locomotives yet? I've found plenty of talk about orders for GE Evolutions, but the only thing I can find on prices is approximately three million according to CA ARB.

Metrolink has a new survey up about options for increased frequencies and extended routes. I have to say, I can't understand the point of a Goleta or Hemet extension myself. Some vague results from the previous survey are available here.
