OK, I have more info, so request some more help! Our hotel is about 3/4 mile from the Fisherman's Wharf drop off and about 2-1/2 miles from the Transbay Terminal. The bus would get to the Transbay Terminal around 10:05pm or the Fishermans Wharf 10:30pm. Which is better choice as far as...

I think 3 in there is comparable to 2 in the regular bedroom. It is fine :) . Only ONE outlet, though!

We have taken the CS a couple of times up to Portland, OR. When we pass thru near San Francisco I always think of going there :) . What deters me is the late and distant arrival. However, we are going for this time!!

I LOVED the family room. The windows are small but adequate :) . Lots of room to stretch out. Only ONE plug to use though. It didnt seem to be noisier or bumpier to me at all. And don't feel guilty- it is your money!!!

Planning a trip Los Angeles to San Francisco. I am a little confused how it works :) Where do we get off, etc. Any tips? What are our options? Any help is appreciated. I do not have a hotel yet, but we will either be near the Civic Center or Fisherman's Wharf area. Been many, many years...

Near LA union station is Olvera Street (cute little Mexican village with shopping and yummy food), also nearby is Philippe's, which is something to see. Great sandwiches in an unusual set up. Those are my picks!!

I think you will make it :) of course, having a day to spend in Chicago would be nice. You can even leave your bags for free in the Metropolitan Lounge and then tour.

Yes, they will do some minor things like that. My daughter and I are a little "particular" and I also have a handful of food allergies and we have been able to make it work.

The lounge was beautiful in Chicago. All the employees were kind and helpful. They had snacks and wine tastes too!! I saved my taste and brought it on the train with me :) They have showers there, too. I took a few pics of the lounge.

We were on LSL last week and the cafe person was the RUDEST OBS I have encountered (and that says alot considering many ARE rude and I have taken 5 LD r/t). I boycotted the snacks!!

I can't believe how many people who do not tip after meals :/. I learned in this forum that you should tip and have always done it. I feel bad when people get up and dont leave anything. I try to get mine out there first so it sort of gives them an idea :)
