"Amtrak is providing alternate transportation" - This is nice. My two reservations SEA-ALY were canceled throughout the past month with no alternate transportation. So I had to 1) cancel for eVoucher and 2) book Boltbus.

I booked today (2/10) 509 from Seattle to Portland then connects 5509 to Eugene. I got email saying there is no alternative transportation provided SEA to PDX. I remember last time, Amtrak used charter buses between SEA and PDX.

Thanks for the replies. Yesterday I found that the transactions are back. Not sure what's happening. My guess is that AGR was updating 2017 status.

Also my status bonus points are not added correctly.

Last night I found that AGR shows "No transaction found" even I set the start date to be 2007. The total AGR score is correct. Does anyone have the same problem?

This is good to know! I know that if you book a multi-city ticket online with "paper ticket segments", then all the segments on your reservation would be paper tickets!

Just wondering is it still possible to get paper Amtrak tickets? Earlier this year, I was able to get paper tickets with non-Amtrak operated buses.

That must be non-weekend train 516. On Friday/Sunday, even business class is 90% full on this train.

Are Cascades business class passengers allowed to be seated in PDX lounge?

Orlando Amtrak station is walkable to downtown, even has Lynx route 11 to/from MCO airport. I took 11 from MCO to ORL once. ;)

This is not the first time I'm experiencing issues with Steel Bridge. Every time I take 507 south of Portland I'll keep my finger crossed. It may stuck in PDX for ages.

Thanks. I was on 508 yesterday. 508 was parked side-by-side with 14 just east of Steel Bridge. The Steel Bridge passing order was 11 -> 14 -> 507 -> 508. 14 left PDX earlier than 508, but was passed by 508 just south of Columbia River Bridge.

I always leave a copy of Amtrak confirmation letter in my dash. Now, what they do is asking which train are you taking and what is the reservation number. The enforcement won't last after 8:49am when the last Sounder commuter train leave the station.
