Why?

As much as I love trains I haven't really paid attention to anything Amtrak over the past couple months. Can someone just give me a quick recap of anything important that's happened (additional trains, new equipment, new stations, canceled routes, etc)?

So are the Subway and KFC open? When I went through in February it they were under construction, and it was supposed to be a Pizza Hut and KFC.

How About Denver-Cheyenne-Casper-Billings?

I caught the Texas Eagle southbound from Joliet to St Louis on the 19th. The train was about 40 minutes late in arriving due to a problem with one of the coach cars in Chicago, which caused it depart late. I didn't mind the wait, as I got to meet a few nice people hanging around at the station...

Does the Texas Eagle run with the CCC? I had some family recently travel overnight and they said the food was terrible and had service to match.

Giordano's is a good place, I have one across the street from my house. Lucas Oil Field is indeed the new home from the Indianapolis, only one season has been played there.

From what I have heard there are none. Having never been there myself (That changes in two weeks) I can't say. I do remember there being on a debate on another forum complaining about the lack of lockers.

Is anyone aware of or able to find information regarding overnight parking at Joliet Union Station (JOL)? I have been able to find very little information of help.
