If I book a 2 zone roomette trip and there will be another person sharing the accommodation, do I need to get their name put on the reservation as well as my own? I ask because I am planning the trip and it is not definite I will have a companion, but we both hope so! Asking it the other way...

Looking at a trip to visit a friend near PGH, I'd take a regional BOS to PHL then the Pennsylvanian to PGH. It looks like I could get a business seat for $27 extra, for a 7+ hr ride - that almost sounds worth it, what do you think? Someone please remind me what the scenery and attractions...

Yet another question often asked but never remembered: I have a voucher. Can I pay for a ticket, at a ticket counter, for me and someone else riding together, or only for myself?

I have heard something about this but can't remember what: If you cash in a voucher for a ticket, do you get points as a purchase?

Who has experience with this? I am interested to know about early or late occupancy of the roomette - that is, does it ever happen that Westbound, you can go into the roomette earlier than TOL, and coming back East, do you ever get to stay in the roomette past TOL?

In the thread about padding, the discussion came up about the LSL Eastbound schedule changing, to arrive earlier. Anyone know more about this, in particular when the change might take place. And how would the schedule change affect arrivals at BOS as well as NYP?
