Following up on Eric's post -- having more Thruways where both beginning and end points are Amtrak cities (bolded in his list like Baltimore-Harrisburg), to get business both dropping-off-from and picking-up-for a train seems better than a bus that serves only as a feeder to one train.

How about Tucson-San Diego? Omaha-Kansas City? Related comment: the Amtrak.com System timetable's maps (and the National System map) are outdated in regard to showing Thruway bus routes.

Just wanted to mention that Wendy from John Steel has been ill, now back at work. I can't fault her for not replying to my interest since she was in the hospital!

After I read this suggestion, I looked unsuccessfully online for Fresh Tracks. I did find John Steel which has great options on their website but they don't answer their phone or respond to messages!
