With service between FTW and STL suspended, does this mean that the northbound TE, train 22, will turn at FTW and become southbound train 21? With a scheduled arrival of 1:58 and a departure time of 2:10, there won't be much time. Of course, the schedule is probably out the window anyway. The other question is, where will the train turn? One possibility would be to back the train to tower 55 and turn it there. Sort of reminiscent of how 22 used to get to Dallas.

They could. If I had time today, I could go by the station and see if they have an extra set of equipment there. They still would have to turn the train, but they would have 24 hours to do it in.

When they made the suspension they did “trap” two sets for FTW-SAS. Also in watching the arrivals and departures in FTW, it’s fairly apparent that two sets are being used, as 21 has left either before or just as 22 was arriving.
