This doesn't bother me much, however I applied (and was approved) for the annual-fee version of the card and it did not ask me anywhere on the application page for my AGR number. I'm hoping it won't be painful to get the card linked to my AGR account.
I also called and they were not able to help - said no bus is running.
EDIT: Guest Rewards was more helpful and they were able to book the bus/train option for 92.
I just got a cancellation notice for 92 from Orlando next week. It looks like Amtrak isn't running the bus from Orlando to Jacksonville anymore (but strangely, the other direction is still bookable).
I was also going to ask about this, because it's weirdly worded. Is Amtrak providing a bus to Jacksonville? I'm on 92 departing 10/13. Hopefully it would be cleared up by then, but I just want to know what to expect.
I appreciate the update. I hadn't seen that - good to know it may be more concrete. And yes of course, hurricane damage is the biggest concern. Hopefully, we'll know about that this weekend.
Yep, I have a ticket on 10/6 for #97, so hopefully that date holds. I presume Amtrak had notified by this point if the train was going to be pushed back? I can't recall, although I could look back in this thread too.
Ugh, Meteor still canceled through September. I'm not scheduled to ride on it again until November, but it's getting uncomfortably close to that date already and I really prefer the timekeeping of the Meteor over the Star.
Planning a Crescent ride in December, guess I should make sure not to...
So I still have a return trip on the 98 Meteor on 2/28. I know from a simple booking search that train is no longer running. Was just curious if anyone also had a ticket on the Meteor that hasn't been updated yet. My 2/23 Meteor trip has already been switched to the Star, so I figured my return...
MODERATOR NOTE: Due to the number of posts pertaining to the Meteor cancellation and Star/Meteor combination, a new thread was created and posts were moved from a couple of threads to this new one (1/20/22).
I just got a new ticket for 2/23 on train 91 when I was supposed to be on 97. A...
Any mixers you may want are free, although I don't remember if they have tonic. Cocktails are included so long as you don't want anything more fancy than a liquor + soda.
The liquors are Bacardi rum, Tanqueray gin, Maker's Mark bourbon, Tito's vodka, and I think Jack Daniel's whiskey.
Looks like both trains are terminating in Atlanta today because of a disabled freight. It caused issues on yesterday's train as well. I am wondering if this will affect multiple days.
Update: Amtrak told me a freight derailed, but today's 19 was scheduled on time. So who knows.
I know this is a bit late, but the short answer is yes - as long as you are approved by Bank of America, you are eligible for the bonus. You can get it for as many cards as BoA will approve you.
