Another foamer plus organ enthusiast here, I see you also have the Wanamaker on your site. The golden age of theatre organs was about the same time as the golden age of trains. (So this is marginally on topic)
My longest trip was March 9 to 31 this year, entirely by train:
Sandusky to Buffalo on Late Sure Ltd, Buffalo to Niagara Falls and Toronto on Maple Leaf, then stayed 3 nights in Toronto. After that I took the Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver which was supposed to be 4 nights but was five...
Two months ago I had a 22 hour connection in Vancouver--and the Canadian was 17 hours late. Notified Marriott hotel day before scheduled arrival but no refund. However the extra night and meals, and the Rockies in daylight, was great. Glad I was on the evening Cascades!
A couple of months ago I did the northbound on Maple Leaf. Deboarded with all luggage and went through customs and immigration in the Niagara Falls ON station.
In March 2017 I was in a Cabin for One, #3, which indeed was on the side opposite the Cabins for Two. I was on the left side facing forward. That was train #2. Next March I have the same room on train #1!
