Hi AUers!

I was hoping someone could give me some tips on what I can do to advocate for transit, specifically in Connecticut. There is lots of good news lately: Hartford Line ridership exceeding projections, CTfastrak is still going strong, two round-trip Shuttles will be extended up to Greenfield, MA this summer. But we're nowhere near perfect: Shore Line East is an absolute mess, there are overcrowding issues on the Hartford Line, the bus system needs to be improved, and we need to keep pushing for general improvements. I believe I've signed up for all the relevant newsletters, so I was wondering what else I can do to help.

Along the same vein, I recently became an Operation Lifesaver Authorized Volunteer, so if anyone has any connections with companies, organizations, or events, please PM me and let me know! I would post this in another forum, but I'm not sure where it would go besides here.

Thanks in advance!
