I spend summer out west and travel back from west coast to Chi as a first leg. I looked on Amsnag and just picked an approx. date to compare bedroom prices and points. I like to use points. August 28 EB Sea-Chi $1842 plus coach fare, 26,324 points. CZ Emy-Chi only $1130 plus coach but 38,399 points. That confuses me. Does that look right?
 
I don’t know what you’re seeing, because here’s what Arrow is showing me (8/28/19, one person in a Bedroom).

Train #8 - SEA-CHI - $763 or 26,324 points

Train #6 - EMY-CHI - $1,113 or 38,399 points
 
So you got the same points total as I did, but the dollar fare is way off.

It’s the lowest bucket.

Or maybe they’re just having a sale because the date (8/28) is the same as the train numbers. Obviously that’s not the case, but I like making dumb theories.  :p
