There was a PSN out earlier this year. I guess it expired since it seemed everyone knew about it.

Amtrak suspends service to Rome, N.Y., station after part of ceiling falls

Only one person was in the station when the ceiling fell in about 3:15 p.m., the newspaper reports, and was not injured. The station has been closed for inspection. Amtrak officials told the paper that service to the station has been suspended through at least July 10, and are suggesting passengers use the Utica, N.Y., station, 14 miles away.

It has been closed ever since. They were hoping to have it back on the beam by late NOV.

Apparently, Rome reopened shortly after this thread appeared.  More repairs are needed but the station is usable.

Izzo said she aimed to have the station reopened to the public by Christmas -- so travelers can be dropped right in Rome, instead of having to figure out how to get from Utica to Rome -- so opening a week early is a win in her book.

The city was awarded a $250,000 grant that state Sen. Joseph Griffo secured from the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, which paid for the temporary fix and will pay for a portion of the permanent fix, as well.

The second phase of the repairs will be to make permanent repairs to the walkway, which will also be at least partly covered by the rest of the grant Griffo secured. Izzo said the city will have to work with CSX because the tracks are over part of the walkway.
