Does anyone know why train 20-14 lost about 3 1/2 hrs between Gainesville and Toccoa, GA?

I know there have been some issues with newly instituted PTC between Alexandria and New Orleans, but a delay of this magnitude suggests a lot more than a PTC failure.

The freight it was following hit a tree.  There were also additional trees that interfered with the region. they had to be cut and removed.

We should come with a separate code for trees since they have been annihilating on time performance (and equipment) for as long trains have operated.

We can't use  FTI  since it is used for Freight Train  Interference so how about HTI for "Horizontal Tree Interference?"  ^_^
