Apparently train 22 left San Antonio on time this morning but hasn’t made it to San Marcos yet. Anyone know what’s going on?

There are a couple of disabled freight trains ahead causing a bottleneck. It'll probably be a couple of hours.

Third rail already told you the reason, #22 is now predicted to arrive into Austin 3+ Hours Late.!
Keep in mind there is Single tracking through Austin from the Lady Bird Lake bridge,past the Station and several miles up MoPac heading North, so this Train can lose even more time, especially with the many Loooong UP Freights on this Line.
(I rode #21 yesterday from Temple to Austin and we were 2 Hours Late into Austin due to 4 Freights getting priority on the Line)

on my last three rides on #21 into Austin we were held on siding while two to three northbound freights went by. if the siding at Austin station was up graded this could be eliminated.
