Nice pics, but where's the Snow?

:giggle:

I'm a bit tardy getting those posted.

They got misplaced on my computer. I rediscovered them yesterday.

They're from a Spring 2014 trip to Eugene.

Apparently Southern Oregon is having a bit of a snow drought this year at lower elevations (like Colorado).

I'm not sure what has happened since, but during my cross-country trip over New Year's Colorado snow cover was slightly above normal, the Sierra Nevadas and Cascades were well below normal, and the Northern Rockies and Plains were well above normal.

The snow came a little late this year. Last week i snowshoed a path around the house. The RR crossing is 2 miles outside Oakridge. There's a geocache there. I have a geocache hidden at the edge of the ROW where the major slide was a few years ago.
