Thinking about AlanB

Recommended Posts

Yesterday AlanB was in a car accident on an icy road. Luckily, he fared much better than his car. He is a little sore, but he is physically OK.

I want Alan to know that his friends at AU are thinking about him. We are pleased that he was able to walk away from a collision in one piece. :)

And I second that thought!

The roads were bad upstate yesterday just having snow. I can not imagine what it was downstate with ice.

Alan, hope you are feeling better soon and glad that it was not as serious for you as it could have been.

I'm glad you're okay, Alan. :) Cars are easy to fix/replace. People, not so much.

On a lighter note, Alan, you should have followed your own advice. ;)

Hah!! :giggle:

Alas, this client is a hour away by driving. By train it requires a subway ride, a Metro North ride, and a bus ride and close to 2-1/2 hours of travel time. But I do wish I could take the train there!!!

What my poor car looks like

That'll buff right out. (Reference: Seinfeld, said by Jerry to George, after George's father's car was beaten into worse shape by people outraged that he had parked in a handicapped parking space.)

I'm glad you're okay!

Alan, Very sorry to hear about your accident, but glad you are doing o.k. We get a lot of ice situations around here and I have had a couple of spin out black ice events in the past. Along with deer and crazy drivers on their cell phones, it is dangerous driving out there. By all means, take a train...wishing you the best. Bill & Claudia
