Amtrak Thinks 'Sharing' Your Photo Means Giving Up Any And All Rights In Perpetuity

An Amtrak passenger uploaded a photo taken from an Amtrak car to Instagram and tagged the company. The company's Twitter account responded, asking the passenger if he'd mind "sharing" the photo with Amtrak. ...
You see, when Amtrak says "share," it actually means "take your stuff and never give it back." When this Twitter user "shared" this with Amtrak (via social media management platform Percolate/Fanbranded), he gave up everything.

After reading this article I remembered the earlier author fiasco and all those outdated photos that were no longer representative of actual Amtrak services. Its starting to look like Amtrak's social media wing is being managed by a troupe of friendly but diabolical con artists.

A troupe of friendly but diabolical can artists in Amtrak's communications department?

Hey, those used car crooks, err, salesman who lost their jobs when so many car dealerships closed a few years back, need jobs too!

I wonder if Long-Distance Services management had some they could spare and sent them over there? :eek:hboy:
