    CA Zephyr Scenery in Mid March

    Mark scenery from Denver to Emeryville, CA. Will there still be a lot of snow? Is this a good time to see the scenery?

    2 roomettes or 1 family bedroom?

    My thought with the roomettes option was that one of us could sleep with the baby and we would have an extra bunk to store some stuff out of the way (if they allow that...). My concern with the family bedroom was the windows. They look quite a bit smaller.
