    Amtrak Customer Relations regarding compensation

    So how does one get hold of Customer Relations? Do they have an email or a phone number or something? I've been riding Amtrak a long time, lots of delays, a couple bustitutions but never needed or wanted to get compensated for anything - till recently.

    So no one knows if Amtrak's Forget it. Second call to AGR did it, and the refund was immediate. I don't know who/what Amtrak Customer Service is, but if you're AGR, stick with them.

    Update I got an email from Amtrak Customer Support (whatever that is - I couldn't find a way to contact Customer Relations, does that still exist?). They gave me a long apology and list of excuses but did promise to refund my points. That was 10 days ago, the refunded points haven't shown up...

    It hit a semi, extensive damage to the engine, don;'t know what the truck looks like but we were told no fatalities and no injuries among the Amtrak passengers. Numerous #1 passengers booked from SAS were bumped from their sleeper reservations to coach, I saw one lady take a refund and book...

    Be still my heart... I could pick up the train in Amarillo, less than half the distance to my now-closest station; ride through to Tallahassee instead of having to change trains in San Antonio and then renting a car at NOLA. Please God, let me live long enough,,,

    I hear you. I only went on it once, late summer 2015, enjoyed it very much. Very pretty scenery, nice people, awesome SCAs.
