There was a good deal of Missouri Pacific timetables and other paper items. A few Santa Fe items and this patch. Is this a Missouri Pacific patch or some other railroad?

Breakfast - French toast is good; omelet is good, but when I requested no onions, I was told that wasn't possible; bacon is probably sliced by those who supply Subway.
Lunch - both burgers are good. The veggie burger is spicier.
Dinner - steak YES!! The chicken was good, but too much for me...
Yesterday, I stepped off at GBB (Galesburg). There were 3 police officers, who I believe we're city or county. They were eyeing everyone getting off the CZ. Once the train departed, they hung around the station for about 30 minutes. I asked the ticket agent if the police meeting the trains was...
My source was a 26 year SCA. She said the reduction would eliminate about 12 positions on the CZ. I'll try to find out more on my return trip next week.
According to the SCA on west bound CZ this week, they will be dropping one sleeper car & one dining car attendant. I can't imagine one person waiting on both sides of the dining car.
Before 10pm, we were told we should be on time into SLC. I think we were an hour and a half late into DEN.
Detour had great scenery, but not spectacular. I feel bad for the first timers who missed the Rockies.
Yes, I do know where I'm going. . . to EMY. Currently enjoying the hospitality of the Metro Lounge. It's been a couple of years since I've been on LD train, so I'm very excited.
Trip report will follow.
Oh, you're fine. I don't expect everyone to have timetables memorized (OK, there are a few on here that have the nationwide timetable memorized! :0 )
I'm leaving Nov 23rd, so that may be the time difference.
And thank you for the plug!
I'm going to change to the 6:37am train. That should give me plenty of time to have brunch at Lou Mitchell's and settle into the lounge before the CZ 2pm departure.
I know there is track work on the Illinois tracks. (I can see it from my house. ) On Nov 10th a delay of massive proportions occurred on 302 between SPI & BLN. I leave in a week on the CZ and I'm trying to figure out what my options are if I miss my connection in CHI.
Currently, I'm scheduled...
Thank you all! We aren't too concerned with the meals, but with the comfort of our friend with the bad back.
Just one last clarification: 3 would not be permitted in the H room because it only seats 2, correct?
