At least 60 dead after train in India plows through people on tracks

The scene was apparently a festival called Dussehra where people were watching festivities including fireworks, but were on the tracks. Then a commuter train apparently plowed right through them.

Sad as it is, it's fairly common in India.
There,are lots of Videos on You-tube of tragedies like this due to the Unbelievable Crowding along the Rail Lines.

There are up to 49,481 births and 14,475 deaths per day in India. Or 2,062 births and 603 deaths per hour in India. Whatever that means.
