As of 7.34 p.m. EDT it looks like almost all trains between Washington and Richmond are literally parked - moving 0 MPH. One of the few exceptions is 66 out of Richmond.

Anybody know what's going on?

The police and FBI investigated an incident outside of FBG. Trains attempted to hold at the nearest station.

It makes sense if a train has been sitting for 5 or 6 hours, the cafe car could be out of food. This is particularly true if the train was heading north since it was likely stocked the day before and is heading back from a turnaround point without additional stock..

Been there, done that...
Same here. After a few hours without food, passengers basically turned into an 18th century villager mob.

You do realize that OBS is a retired OBS. He may be talking about being behind the empty counter dealing with irate pax.

RIght. I'm not used to the VA trains food wise. I'm a spoiled brat.

I'm used to getting on a train from Philly or Boston that has tons of food.
