Interesting. Union Station is beautiful - I’m glad it was saved!

In January, I flew into Denver and stayed overnight near the airport. I got on the rail, rode right to Union Station, got off and crossed the platform and got right on #5!

Nice video, thanks for posting it. I spent 1979 to 1989 working there. Besides the station, what really amazes me, is the fantastic transformation of the valley between the station and the S. Platte...used to be a "wasteland". Now it is full of high priced condo's and other development. Hard to recognize anything NW of the station..

The transformation is remarkable, both in the station, and the area itself. The first time I took the train home, and it was running late, I felt like I was in a big barn. A few weeks ago heat restrictions had 6 running pretty late, and (other than concern about my connection) I almost didn't mind.
