Excellent feature, and she was honest about the adventure. Not a typical pax rail story these days, where negatives are often emphasized. Good mix in the photo gallery as well.

Yeah, usually whenever a large news outlet like that reviews any Amtrak service, they go off on every little thing.  :angry: It's refreshing to read one that doesn't  :)

A pleasant read on an Amtrak trip that I enjoyed on the Crescent from New York to New Orleans.  Many thanks to the OP for starting this thread.

I have enjoyed the Crescent from DC to New Orleans a couple of times and back. Good article thanks for posting.
