Why can't I update my address in the Guest rewards profile?

I keep getting an error message.  Of course this resulted in me not getting my AGR packet with my select plus card. 

 

Ironically United did a fine job with this issue by allowing me to show my drivers license and status on my phone. One of the poorly trained dragons in the metropolitan lounge has delighted in making things difficult.  The first time around I was patient.  The second time, two weeks later, I brusquely trained her how to look it up and would not tolerate her can't do attitude. She pretended that she had not remembered me from two weeks ago, but she gave herself away by comments she made as I approached her.  I concluded this engagement by telling her, I am sure next time you will remember my status.  Or we can do this again.  It baffles me how United, with it's so called terrible customer service reputation can accomodate me without hassle in Houston where they probably rarely see Amtrak Select Plus customers,   And some Amtrak employees are just nasty.

I think you need to call Amtrak Guest Rewards at 1-800-307-5000 to do that.


Amtrak travel so far: only 11,218 miles: Springfield Shuttle (13), Northeast Regional (28), Acela (1), Lake Shore Limited (2), Pennsylvanian (2), Capitol Limited (1)

Ambus mileage (3 trips): 108

Other rail transit: WMATA (~900 miles), Metro-North, MTA, MBTA (Subway and Commuter Rail), Metra, CTA, RTA

Well I was able to update it on line by going to the Amtrak Guest rewards page.  So I could not update my profile on the sight that I purchase tickets on.  I clicked on some link that got me to the guest rewards sight.  Now the address is correct in both places on a desk top computer.  

 

It is not correct on the app.  I wonder how long that will take . . .

It was corrected about 30 seconds after this other post I made.  LOL.  NOW I am happy.  Now if I can get them to remail the guest rewards card.
