How often does Amtrak come out with new menus

They typically "refresh" the menu a few times a year. I believe this usually occurs in the fall and spring. Usually, only a few items change.

Actually, December. I was on the Meteor on January 3rd, and the waiters said the menus were updated a couple weeks before. The menus on Amtrak.com are not up to date, and I'm pretty sure are from September.
 
Actually, the SM menu on line is from September 2016. Yeah, that is current???? I asked on a recent trip through Chicago, a supervisor told me that everything on line is as current as is possible, maybe just a few days behind. We finally agreed to disagree. A letter got me the stock answer that the supervisor gave me.

Also, there is no longer a "National" Menu that used to be in addition to the menus for specific trains.

Which doesn't seem to matter because the menus for all the trains with full dining service are the same, with different cover art. It is a national menu all but in name.

The trains without the full service, such as LSL and CONO are different.
