So that means most of old style signals (I forget the name of it) would be replaced by modern signals?
Entire length in segments- Southwest Chief (LSV-LAX & CHI-LSV), Pacific Surfliner (SLO-LAX & LAX-SAN) & San Joaquin (Oakland stub)
Entire length, end to end- Lake Shore Limited (Boston stub) (11/09), Downeaster (11/09) & Coast Starlight (10/11)
Partial- California Zephyr (SLC-EMY), Hiawatha, Cascades (SEA-PDX) & Acela (BOS-PVD)

I was going to type wig-wag but I didn't think they don't do swinging, just a arm sticking outward.  Thanks Betty!

If they were just awarded the money, I doubt if work will even begin by then.

That about $90,000 each. Probably not out of line since most of them are probably engineers/conductors,with a couple of ticket agents and a few management types thrown in.
