My niece will be graduating from college in Daytona Beach this May and I am considering booking at least a one-way Amtrak trip (flying the other way) to go down and meet up with the rest of my family members who are coming in for the event. I see that Amtrak stops in DeLand and offers a taxi (I'm guessing a bus?) service to Daytona Beach. Where in Daytona Beach does the bus stop? We'll be staying at the Wyndham Ocean Walk. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.
 
It's an actual taxi not a bus. Used to be Southern Komfort Cab but that was 10 years ago. Technically they are suppose to drop you at the Hilton Ocean walk, from experience the driver will be more than happy to drop you off at the Wyndham or wherever you want in Daytona.
 
Southern Komfort went out of business 1-2 years ago. The new operator is Tri Star Taxi. They will pick up and drop off at locations other than the Hilton with 1 day advance notice.
