Yeah, I had to reach for the box of Kleenex too.

Pete must have been an amazing person and a real asset to Amtrak and his co-workers, friends, family...I'm pretty sure they let him know that before he passed and this is a fitting tribute too.

He was pretty decent. He also worked with new hires in various departments and tried to mentor them. He was quite well rounded.

Many of the T&E employees who I have contact with have nothing but positive things to say about Pete. One of which will blow a single blast of the horn on dates of importance in an area that Pete had memories of.
