Was driving on Rt 95 going South into Philadelphia Sunday night around 4:45 PM and as I looked to the left of the highway in No PHL there was a Viewliner train heading South on the NEC. It looked like a consist with a baggage car at the rear, two sleepers and coaches but since the train was moving fast and I had to keep my eyes on the road, I didn't get a good look. AFAIK no Viewliner train should be heading South near PHL at that hour. Can anyone answer the question of the mystery train?

It's the Magical Mystery Tour, coming to take you away!

Most likely it was 97 and you counted the number of Sleepers wrong. 97 arrived into PHL at 4:59pm on Sunday. Normally it gets in at 4:48pm or thereabouts.

Should have asked the man who knows it better than I. Forgot that the Silver Meteor was the only late afternoon LD train out of NYP; one of the trains that we haven't taken yet. Its always been the A/T for us but we may try it on our next Florida trip. Thanks for the clarification.
