We met one of them when we were stuck at the station during our AU Gathering Amtrak ride.

Lacey was my home station in the late 90's when I lived in Tumwater. The volunteers were in charge even then. Always nice and helpful. Glad that is still the case.

And they'll have more trains to help out with and longer hours to cover starting in December! Sounds like they're up to the task.
