It has been almost 6 weeks since I completed a 1 week rental with Hertz under the 6x bonus points program and points have yet to post to the account. I have looked high and low on the AGR site trying to find out how to request a follow up on missing points from allied merchants/suppliers but find nothing. Any idea on how to proceed?

Once you're logged into the AGR site, click on the "Points for Shopping" link. Once there, click on "FAQ". A few down the list, it will be about earning points, and not having them show up. It has a link for "Contact Us".

Complete this form and submit it. Many times I've used it and had the points post.

I had the same issue with respect to a Hertz rental in June. After 6 weeks, the points had not posted. I reached out to AGR and the points were credited after about another 2 weeks.

After multiple back and forths, I finally got points for a Budget rental (w/ promo) that was completed in late May. AGR staff were very friendly about it, but they need to communicate with the car rental company and their systems, so it takes a while.

Use the "contact us" form on the AGR site, and make sure to include your rental confirmation number and the coupon code(s) for the 6x promo.

I've also had pending points posted after submitting the transaction, and then cancelled/not awarded at 8 weeks when they should have posted. Grrr. Apparently, the retailers (Vitacost and LL Bean) just decided that the transaction did not meet their qualifications (yes, they were promotional sales).

Thanks everyone. That link was so well hidden I would never have found it, plus being in Points for Shopping I would have probably ignored it. I just sent in all the info; so now I hope for the best :)

That Hertz outfit, quite frankly they really suck! They gypped me out of AGR points on a 6X offer 5 years ago and that was it. Went through the process and they said "cancelled", end of story. If that's the way the game needs to be played count me out. We switched to Enterprise and they have received 6 rentals since, each near $500 each. We have never experienced a single problem with Enterprise. Their people are top notch, they pick you up at the train station, they have given a few great upgrades along the way and they post points promptly with integrity. IMO, Hertz must be a company with poor management. They lost several thousand dollars of business for gypping me out of some points. Does that sound like they made the right decision?

A quick follow-up. I followed the_traveler's advice 4 weeks ago and as of yesterday (28 SEP) nothing had posted. So I then went ahead and called Hertz and within minutes a rep guided me through their web site to a missing points claim page. She gave me all the information I needed and in less than 24 hours, they responded, indicating the missing Points would be in my kitty within the standard "4-6 weeks."

Now that is what I call SUPERIOR customer service!

Maybe you should wait until the monkey points are actually deposited before declaring victory?
