Atlanta's last hump yard to fall

With Hunter Harrison now at the throttle of CSX, the last of the two hump yards in Atlanta, Tilford, will be de-humped. http://trn.trains.com/news/news-wire/2017/03/22-csx-to-close-down-tilford-hump-yard-in-atlanta# Along with the ex-Georgia road being dropped from a 50mph secondary mainline to a glorified 25mph branchline last year, this is a depressing time to be an Atlanta-area railfan.

When I worked on the railway here in the UK, one of the least desired jobs was to man the Temple Meads "hump" engines... walking pace or below, up the hump, down the hump, up the hump...

I guess many trains are "through" trains nowadays, with less need to "switch out" and remarshall to fresh destinations?

The "Temple Meads" freight yard and hump vanished under the London 2012 Olympic stadium venues, I believe.
