On my usual Metrolink 100 commute to LA Union Station.

from Twitter at 5:54AM:

"VC Line 100 to Los Angeles is stopped at Van Nuys due to police activity. Updates to follow."

Even though I was late for work, still had to chuckle at this LA Daily News article...

I was listening to the scanner when this occurred. The engineer and conductor "heard" it, rather than felt anything. At the Van Nuys stop, an inspection revealed a biological substance on the cabcar. It had to be investigated to, at the least, rule out human.
