Unfortunately there is no train service to be had for most of the medium distance travel that I have to do. And it is impractical to take the train for business trips cross country. Don't get me wrong. i take the train preferably whenever I can, but more often than not trains in this country meet my needs.

As for overseas travel, needless to say, ground transport does not work too well to get to Europe or Asia, so I fly. I think the jet lag thing is way overstated at least in my experience. Yes there is jet lag, but no it does not take six days to get over a six hour time difference. It takes me a day or so. But then again I do it often enough that the wonderful adaptable human body just adapts to it.

Also somehow the Oxygen shortage related symptoms have never occurred in me. May just have to do with better physical conditioning than the average, or just plain luck. Then again, going to Colorado Springs also doesn't bother me, and Pike's Peak only produced very mild symptoms.
