At least to some, it might seem like progress to get more light rail into operation.

As the press report below outlines, this Saturday, light rail service will extend southwards from SeaTac Airport to the Angel Lake station.

Now many might be curious how voters will decide on November 8, regarding the Sound Transit 3 or "proposition 1", in order to see if there will be many more expansions like this to come soon...

I stayed at a hotel about a half-mile south of the airport light rail station over Labor Day weekend, and they were running test trains on the new extension all weekend long. It looked as though it was humming along at a pretty good clip. I'll have to try it out next time I'm in the area.
