We left LA about 20 minutes late. A passenger pulled the emergency stop twice, one around Oxnard the other one around Carpinteria. We arrived in Santa Barbara 1 hour late.
We then boarded a amtrak contracted bus, silverado stages bus to Solvang. We had lunch at succulent cafe wine charcuterie then watched a parade and folk group dance for Danish day festival in Solvang.
We spent about 4 hours in Solvang then headed back to amtrak bus stop that would take us back to Santa Barbara. The bus was about 40 minutes late, but thanks to some schedule padding we arrived in Santa Barbara 15 minutes before the the Pacific surfliner arrived.
