It was a super chilly & very windy day so we decided to take the Roosevelt Island Tram for a ride since I never been on it. It's a nice ride. We were trying to decide what else to do so while Louis was charging his chair in the visitor Center we talked about museums.
Once Louis got his chair charged, we took the tram back to Manhattan, then took the bus to the Museum Of The City Of New York. When we got there we found out it was pay as you wish day so we only paid $10 for the both of us. We were both disappointed in the museum & thought there would be more to it.
After we left that museum, we took the bus to the Paley Museum. We got there a few minutes late. We weren't planning to see the screening but just meeting Will Forte & Kristen Schaal, however when we got there they still had tickets left for the overflow room which was fine with me. We only had to pay $10 since it had already started.
When the screening was done, we went outside to wait with a bunch of other fans & paparazzi for Will & Kristen to come out. It was a bit nippy out so I dont know if it was the excitement of seeing Will again & meeting Kristen or if I was really cold, however once I calmed down a little I warmed up. I tend to get a little nervous around big crowds but it worked out.
Kristen was mobbed but she came over to us. She is super nice & very down to Earth. As soon as she left, half the crowd left as well. Most of that crowd was paparazzi. Will was taking his time which is fine because he loves talking to his fans. He looked over to where we were, he saw me with a big smile on his face but at first he didn't see Louis until Louis peeked a little, then Will got a big surprise on his face. Whoever was guiding him through didn't want him to stop for anyone else but he told her that he wanted to talk to us so he came over to us. Gave us a big hug & talked to him for a bit. The fans around us even helped take our pictures & wanted to know how we know Will. Will told us he had to go because he was going to dinner with Kristen & her husband. It was great seeing our friend, Will again. Glad we got to meet Kristen.
It was time for us to go to dinner too so we walked to Ray's Pizza in Times Square. I got two slice of cheese pizza & Louis got spaghetti with meatballs. There is nothing like New York pizza.
