Which train is 321. I'm looking at headed toward St. Louis. And it wants to book me on 321 instead of 21. Travel date is May 8
 
Sounds like a substitute for the Texas Eagle -- possibly renumbered because the train will be taking an alternative routing from Chicago to St. Louis because of scheduled track maintenance on its regular route on your travel date.

That is correct. 21, 321, and 421 are all the same train. 321 is the local CHI to STL coach... 21 is the part of the train that goes as far as SAS... and 421 is the part of the train that runs 3x a week to LAX.

Buy the cheapest fare offered for either 321, 21, or 421.
