I'm noticing this morning the 302 has four new bike racks in the cafe car. Booths were removed to make room. This is one of the cafes that lacked a restroom to begin with.

Anyone know if this is going to be the standard?

Not sure I like sacrificing booth space for bicycles.
It all depends on whose booth gets sacrificed. The crew always seems to spread their stuff on two of them, even if they sit in one of the coaches.

There is always enough space for bikes in the coaches, at least on the Quincy trains.

I understand but if crew continues to use a booth then space for passengers eating food is sacrificed for the bicycles. I just think the food service car is the worst place that store them.

The problem isn't the bikes, it's crew using cafe cars as an employee lounge.
