There is a post on train orders that this occurred on Friday and that a bus bridge was used. There is no service disruption on Amtrak's website for today's 3 into Abq. I'm posting from iPhone and was unable to post a link to train orders.

Aloha

Considering our weather reports that a serious storm is coming in from the east I am not suprised.

From NM Rail Runner:

All Weekend Train Service (8/1/15 - 8/2/15) Cancelled Due to Flash Flood

(Updated– August 1, 2015 at 8:45 a.m.) – A flash flood swept through parts of Sandoval County on the evening of Friday, July 31. This flood washed out about 100-feet of railroad track on the north side of Arroyo Maria Chavez, just north of the town of Algodones between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. Due to this severe weather event, all Rail Runner service has been suspended for the entire weekend as crews work to re-stabalize the ground beneath the damaged track. We expect to have all repairs made in time for regular service on Monday morning.

On Friday night, a bus bridge was set up between the Sandoval County/US 550 Station in Bernalillo and the Santa County/NM 599 Station. Passengers on the last train train of the night leaving Santa Fe were also bussed from the Santa Fe Depot to Bernalillo before catching a train to continue south. We would like to thank our passengers for their cooperation and patience on Friday night as we were focussing on getting everyone to their destinations safely
