With all the confusion concerning the Chase AGR card, I decided to get the Chase Preferred card. Question, can I transfer the points free to my AGR account each month? Plus, if I do that, would it affect the 40,000 point bonus offer?

I do not think the transfer of Ultimate Reward points to your AGR account would affect your bonus, which likely is dependent on your level of spending during a specific time period. The UR points may be transferred to AGR in 1,000 point increments. If, in the future, AGR terminates its relationship with Chase, then it is possible, at that time, your UR points will not transfer to your AGR account.

What she said. Chase doesn't care what you do with the bonus points once you've earned them. How would they know what you intend to do with them?
