The future for supporting USA Rail Transportation

Where do we go from here? With the log jam of no support on Washington I ponder what would be the best course to advocate for better rail transportation. Support NARP yes but is that is not enough. If you look at what is going well you see pockets of encouraging development, namely in Salt Lake City, Tuscon, Dallas metroplex, Chicago, Virginia, California, etc. Outside of these key areas we have nada. I am coming to the conclusion that our emphasis should be placed on those areas that are doing well so that someday we have nots will recognize what we are missing and read the riot act to our elected officials. For those David's out there who have slain the giant I would love to hear your story
