What's there to do in Schenectady all day?

Trying to decide if an Ethan Allen with a several hour layover or the Adirondack with a three hour wait is the better option.

The SDY station is 1 block from the main street and downtown. Directly across the street from the station is/was (a few years ago) a Burger King. Just for comparison, ALB is not in Albany but actually across the Hudson River in Rensselaer. There is nothing nearby.
Take it easy .......

Take the train instead and enjoy the ride!

The view is much better at 3 feet than it is at 30,000 feet!

Take the Adirondack, there's no reason to hang out in Schenectady and the Adirondack is a nice ride Northbound, especially in the leaf peeper season when Ocean View is in the consist!
