Does anyone know if the Mitchell airplane museum at the airport is interesting? I am taking a points run Thursday 5-8-14, while the double points promo is still going on.

Thanks, Kenneth

It's okay, quite small, its right in the central terminal, I visited once a few years ago on a 3-hour airplane layover. I decided to leave security to investigate the museum. I almost took the shuttle bus to the Amtrak station for some rail fanning and photographing that station except it was pouring rain.

Check out my website SubwayNut.com decidated to pictures of subway, light rail and railroad stations including nearly 200 that Amtrak stop at!

When I called for the hours and was told almost anytime the airport is open and it is free. Made me think it may not be to much.   Thanks for the info. still getting 4 route segments that day.
