DIE TRAIN SIM DIE!

As you might be able to tell I'm a little frustrated with Microsoft Train Simulator right now. I bought the software on Friday, installed it, and began playing. Five minutes or so later my computer crashes, no big deal just a fluke. Well it wasn't, every time I play my computer always crashes and it's very frustrating. Does anyone have any solutipns or know of any patches available to fix this problem?

I know that Microsoft has a number that you can call for help, so you could try that.

Additionally if you can send me some more info via email or a PM, maybe I can help. Tell what messages if any you get, how far into the loading process do you get before the crash, what other programs you have open when you start the game. Does your computer reboot? Do you get the blue screen of death? Plus anything else you can tell me, including the specs of your computer.

Do you know the 800 number Alan, I'm not exactly a fan of corresponding via e-mail for computer problems, no offense but it bugs me, a lot like Train Sim.

Train Sim crashed my laptop with regularity when I had it installed on it. Now I only have it on my desktop. I think the available download on the MSTS site is designed to fix some of the driver problems. You're probably having issues with the video card or something along those lines. I'd get and install the download first and see if that might not solve the problem.
