I design decals for the Penn Central Modelers in HO scale. Recenly I designed decal set #12 which is the very first Amtrak Engine that Amtrak used on opening day. This engine was given to Amtrak from the Penn Central Railroad. The E8 engine number is #4316. I think it is one of the most colorful engine paint schemes that Amtrak used, and is the only type paint scheme used by Amtrak on this engine only!! The sheet consists of the following:

1). Pointless Arrow that wraps around from one

side of the engine to the other side-

2). Large white numbers for rear side of engine-

3). Additional large white numbers for above-

4). Number board numbers-

5). Chrome FARR Grill decals for IHC version-

6). Four different size white Amrak lettering, the

additional whte letters can be used for GG1's,

GP9's and road switches that were all black-

7). White diagonal bands that go on the nose-

I just completed my Proto 2000 E8 with this sheet to use in conjunction with my Walther's NEW Budd Penn Central Cars. You can purchase for $22.00 plus $3.50 Priority Mail from:
