The Friends of 261 are going behind #8 MSP-CHI on 7/20, and returning to MSP on 7/22 behind #7, for their 'Summer Get Away 2012'. This trip features their 'Super Dome' and their unique observation car 'Cedar Rapids'.

I took a trip with them last year and it was great.

But if you are interested, act fast! It is my understanding that tickets are going quickly and not very many remain. Click HERE to visit the F.O.261's excursions page.

I just got an e-mail from the Friends of the 261, announcing that there are still plenty of seats available for next weekend's trip to and from Chicago.
