As title indicates, we're planning a fall trip with (at least) 8 segments. I have a MAC which won't allow the Flash that seems to be necessary to use the custom planner. Any other way I can put this all together and purchase online? Or will I have to call and do this on the phone?

Any suggestions appreciated. Buying another computer is not a possibility for the MAC haters! We're old retired teachers on a pension - enough said.

I'm a Mac person, as well. Even though Flash is no longer bundled with OS X, it's very easy to install Flash on your computer ... and free.

No friends that would let you use their PC or is MACitis like veganism - you try to avoid that other stuff at all costs?

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. Actually, I can't upgrade to the newer adobe flash and still get on FaceBook! I keep up with my rather extended family (especially grandkids) and widely scattered friends on FaceBook, so really hate to give that up. I have a 10.6.8 (already obsolete) and no purchases in the near future. So I guess I"ll just set it up in two sections and then call and hope I get someone who is having a good day.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. Unfortunately we live in the country - and I guess I don't have any friends that would allow me to come and spend massive hours at their computers! This trip will involve many trains/connections/attempts to get a low bucket on sleepers etc. I'm old and I guess I'm slow - but honestly - it will take hours to get it done just right. We're old time train travelers - longest ride was from Ft Worth to Halifax, Nova Scotia. I know how to get it done, but I'm sure not fast at it.

Not wanting to stray too far from the subject of trains, but you should definitely be able to use both Facebook and the latest version of Flash with 10.6.8.

You might want to download a different web browser and see how that works for you ... I'm a big fan of Chrome, and mostly use that nowadays. Good luck!
